Hi there long time no blog, busy these few days LSCT FOC 2007, Engineers 40 ann parade, and CDS duty.... work work work hahaha....
It has been a while since the last foc, I enjoyed it alot.... knowing most of the gls dun know me .... seeing most of the sgls put on make up for night walk makes it more happy for me hahahah..... making new friends and knowing more agls,sgls and gl.....
After the camp I went back and did my CDS duty (company duty serg.) busy duty on that day... settling chickenpox cases walking around and staff parade at 10pm...
Lots of ppl asked me about wat is staff parade wat is it meant for.....
It is a parade for all duty personnel to gather and check for the attire of the personnel...
Partly right ....
It is also to "respect" the soldiers that lost their lives in wars in the past... moan for them as in ( did i use the right word?)
Why couldn't the soldiers cut across the parade square?
ans: Becos in the past during war time all the bodies of the soldiers that was killed in war will be place in the parade square, so as a respect to the dead soldiers are no allowed to cut across the parade square with no reason.
after the duty, I was told that I am in the engineers 40 ann. parade (shock). it will be held on the floatin platform beside the esplanade (where this year NDP would be held) can consider the first to sept on the platform for parade.... I got 4 Tix to give away but still thinkin of whu to call for some tix hahaaha..... at first I was like fuck why should i go for the parade but now I feel proud being in it.... just take it as a last present for my unit hahahaha....... it is hot but we endure .... the parade will be held on this coming tuesday..... couldn't wait anymore..... Once an engineer always an engineer... once a gl always a gl.....
I did treasure every moment of my time in Army and not to say in my Society too (LSCT) love the ppl in there!!!!
